PF advised to truly accept HH as president and move on

I inadvertently , but quite pleasantly so, listened to President Hichilema’s speech at the 1st private sector day commemoration as I searched for lunch time news on radio 2 this afternoon.
He was speaking about job creation, reducing the cost of doing business by, among other things, abolishing or streamlining tedious licenses and regulatory charges, making finance affordable, accessible and available to businesses large and small, stressing that he was an advocate for the people of Zambia bent on improving lives through opportunities that are there for Zambians to benefit through polices, laws and regulations that encourage and spur growth tilted in locals’ favor .
Soon after, I tuned to another station where PF Acting President Given Lubinda was, in annoyingly stark contrast, rubbishing the just ended AU Mid Year summit as a flop which was shunned by 8 of the 13 invited heads of state because the UPND agenda was inimical to the ideals of Pan Africanism. What hogwash!
Ba PF how do you define and measure success? This was an AU summit arranged by AU meaning the secretariat not the Zambian government made the invitations. We just hosted and it was great honor to do so, successfully if I may add. Like all other invited countries, Zambia was allocated 57 seats for its delegates. How bitter, petty, frivolous, vexatious and infuriating can you people be? Is there no end to your hatred? Your contempt for a President who has put Zambia’s interests as priority?
Accusing this government of being puppets of imperialists for creating an environment that woos foreign direct investment, for jobs for our jobless people in both the informal and formal sectors, after spending your years in government impoverishing an already poor people through wholesale, grand corruption is a bit rich. Savings from your halted corruption are now being used t recruit and renumerate teachers and health workers, loot stashed at concubines’ homes is being used as bursary for vulnerable students. As you try to grapple with your diminishing relevance through outlandishly misleading statements, discern between what is morally and ethically acceptable and what is politically expedient. The people are neither blind nor ignorant they can tell the difference between hot air and the real deal.
There is finally a real light at the end of the proverbial tunnel not the farcical PF light that turned out to be a speeding out of control train wreck. By Nkonkomalimba

  1. Wasted advice. Iam not one of you meaning not a UPND or PF cadre or follower but PF accepted HH as president more readily than did UPND with Lungu. They have never issued statements doubting the result of elections. Do you want them to start bowing on their knees before HH? That is not present day behaviour of acknowledgement. Perhaps its UPND who need to move on?

  2. Well said Nkonkomalimba!! It’s worth giving viable alternative ideas than picking on your opponent’s ideas. Actually, PF’s lack of progressive ideas was evident while they were in power. Just recall how many times they were fixated at criticizing the opposition, UPND’s ideas. Now that they do not control the coffers of the country, their efforts is to crook their way to public coffers. No more PF! You treated Zambian people like beggars, lining for mealie meal and chicken being thrown from trucks – abhorrent! How dare one would purport to distribute elms when using public resources? If it wasn’t public resources, why not doing it now? PF and minions, you’re Good riddance for bad rubbish!

  3. PF should not only accept that they are now out of power and UPND and its alliance partners are now ruling the country. PF should also realise that people are now better off compared to the time they were in power. We no longer have thugs harassing people in markets and bus stops. Each constituency is now planning how best to use CDF money. Investors are now thinking of Zambia as an investment destination. The country is no longer on auto pilot as used to be the case. Our problem is that those that have access to PF leaders tell PF officials and the Former President what they want to hear that things are now bad. However we understand also that things are bad because of PF reckless borrowing.

  4. LUBINDER! WE HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN HOW YOU WISHED TO CLING TO POWER AND ENSLAVE US IN A DICTATORSHIP THRU THE BILL 10 YOU INTRODUCED BUT THANKS TO UPND IT FLOPPED. NO WONDER YOU ARE VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY BITTER AND CANNOT SEE ANYTHING GOOD UPND DOES. BUT WE DO SEE THAT HH IS TRYING HIS BEST TO CLEAR THE MESS YOU LEFT BEHIND ESPECIALLY THE HUGE DEBT MOST OF WHICH WAS SWINDLED THROUGH CORRUPTION AND OVERPRICING PROCUREMENTS AND PROJECTS. AND YOU DREAM OF RE-ELECTION! YOUR DREAM IS ACTUALLY A NIGHTMARE, REFLECTED BY YOUR BITTER RHETORIC. SORRY GUYS. THE ONLY PF LEADER WHO HAD PEOPLE’S INTEREST AT HEART WAS THE LATE MICHAEL SATA. THE REST WERE JUST THERE TO SERVE THEIR OWN IMNTERESTS. TAME YOUR BITTERNESS AND MOVE ON A MUDALA.

  5. …more like saying all Zambians repent and become Christians while this may be good it is not feasible. I am NO PF, just a practical person knowledgeable about reality. PF cadres were chewing but no longer doing so why should they bother with the achievement of the current government?

    • While PF and Mmembe exercise their hatred, and are busy singing archaic ideologies of Socialism, HH train of development is cruising on. To make it more interesting, the people are standing with UPND because they can see that they are genuine, honest, and they mean well, without showing any hatred, bias, tribal, to anyone. Infact, they have often returned love for the hatred, to those who who have pursued hate.
