Barring of Siliya and others from standing case brought forward, judgment tomorrow

In an interesting move, a Lusaka High Court has brought foward the judgement in which former Petauke Central MP Dora Siliya, former Malambo MP Maxwel Mwale and former Mulobezi MP Hastings Sililo sued the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) and the Attorney General.
The Lusaka High Court has brought foward the judgement from Wednesday 04/09/13 to tomorrow Tuesday 03/09/13 at 09 hours.
According to the Notice issued by the High Court and addressed to the plaintiff’s and defendants lawyers obtained by the Zambian Watchdog,the judgement will passed by Mrs. Justice Mungeni Mulenga at 09 hours.
The Notice reads as follows: 2013/HP/1159″ Dora Siliya, Maxwell Moses Boma Mwale and Hastings Sililo (Plaintiff) and The Attorney General and the Electoral Commission of Zambia (Defendants).
Take Notice that the above cause will be held and determined by the High Court of Zambia at Lusaka on Tuesday The 3rd  Day of September 2013 at 09:00 hours in the fore noon before Honourable Madam, Mrs. Justice MS. Mulenga (Mrs)
Dated the 30th day of August 2013.
The Notice is signed by a Deputy Assistant Registrar of the High Court.
The plaintiff’s sought the Lusaka High Court intervention after the ECZ stopped them from filing nominations in their respective constituencies for parliamentary by-elections.
